The School Day
Breakfast Club
For children in our breakfast club, the school day begins at 8.00 am. A breakfast of toast, cereal and fresh fruit plus juice is provided. The children have the opportunity to chose from a variety of activities including board games and crafts.
The School Day
The school day begins at 8.55am for children in Key Stage One and Two and 9am for children in Reception. A member of staff will be on duty in the playground from 8.45am, before this time children remain the responsibility of their parents.
The children are required to line up when the whistle is blown, they will be collected from the playground and taken to their classrooms by their class teachers.
All children from Year 1 to Year 3 have a morning break at 10.30am and Year 4 to Year 6 at 10.45am; with children in Key Stage One also having an afternoon break at 2.15pm.
Lunchtimes are divided into two sittings:
Reception and Key Stage One have lunch from 12.00pm – 1pm
Key Stage Two lunch from 12.30pm until 1.30pm.
The school day ends at 3.30pm.
After-school clubs run daily from 3.30pm until 4.30pm.
Worship
There is a daily act of worship where staff and all pupils gather for a time of spiritual refreshment and a time of calm in the busy day. The themes of worship are varied eg. exploring empathy, caring for the world, Easter and belonging.
