RE Ambassadors 2024 - 2025

"Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to God."

Matthew 5:16

Our school’s ethos, deeply rooted in Christian faith, aims to nurture every pupil’s academic potential, help them discover talents in art, music, sports, and drama, and encourage growth in spiritual awareness and moral character. By promoting excellence within an inclusive environment that enables each child to develop and flourish, we aspire to shine together as a community, bringing glory to God through our achievements.

Core Values: Perseverance, Kindness, Respect, Courage, Thankfulness, and Service

Each year, pupils from Year 2 through to Year 6 are elected as RE Ambassadors to work closely with the school’s RE Lead, supporting the promotion of our school’s vision and values. Participation in daily collective worship is highly valued, and our RE Ambassadors play a leading role, assisting with these sessions both at school and at St. Peter’s Church, while setting an example for their peers.

Our RE Ambassadors also provide valuable feedback on collective worship, as well as RE teaching and learning across the school. They meet with the RE Lead each term to express their perspectives and those of their classmates, contributing to the school’s self-evaluation process through pupil voice.

In addition to their roles within the school, the RE Ambassadors represent our school at the annual LDBS Church Schools Service at St. Paul’s Cathedral. This joyful event unites pupils from church schools across London to worship, praise, and give thanks to God, celebrating the wider community of church schools.

The following pupils have been elected as RE Ambassadors for this academic year:

Year 2 – Kleo and Xander

Year 3 – Joni and Xavier

Year 4 – Rose and Tom

Year 5 – Bowen and Ava

Year 6 – Ethiopia, Susannah, and Edie

We are grateful for their commitment and look forward to a fulfilling year ahead.
