Charities

Here at St. Peter’s we are committed to supporting charities throughout the year. We hold a variety of events and special days to support a wide range of both global and local charities as well as ones chosen by the children.

House Charities

Each of our Houses choose a charity to support throughout the academic year. These charities are chosen by the House Captains and house members and represent both local charities and global organisations which are meaningful to the individuals in that house. Throughout the year, the children orgainse events within their house as well as whole school events to raise funds for their chosen charities

During 2020/21 we supported

Cross     - Water for Africa

Fisher    - KIDS

Rock      - RNLI (Chiswick)

Keys      - Whale & Dolphin Conservation

Through events such as the Easter Egg Raffle we raised £503.93 for the four house charities, plus each house raised £100 which was donated to charities supporting the people of Ukraine.

BBC Children in Need

Each year we take part in supporting Children in Need and are proud to say that this year we raised £533.90.

Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day

Macmillan Charity Run

**Y6 Macmillian Run

Year 6 set ran a marathon in their pyjamas as a class, to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. The children were fantastic; they smashed their target by running over 3000 laps of the playground – yes, you really did read that correctly!  A huge well done to everyone involved - such a team effort, with the children supporting one another and offering words of encouragement as they ran.  Children from the other classes took turns to come outside and cheer on the Year 6 children.  Thank you to everyone who has donated to Macmillan Cancer Support to date, the children have raised an impressive £422.
