Enrichment
At St Peter’s we are committed to ensuring that as well as receiving a vibrant, rich and diverse curriculum the children also have a variety of enrichment opportunities.
How do we do this?
Each of our classes attend at least one trip per half term. This includes exploring our local area visiting places such as Gunnersbury triangle, Fulham Palace and Kew Gardens as well as exploring further afield to central London visiting sites such as The Royal Albert Hall, Science Museum or The Tower of London.
We also take our children in Year 5 and Year 6 on residential trips. In Year 5 the children visit PGL where they take part in a range of challenges including raft building, abseiling and obstacle courses. In Year 6 the children visit Pembrokeshire to Lower Treginnis Farm. ‘Farms for City Children’ is a charity enabling children to experience the adventure of working together on a farm in the heart of the British countryside. Children are immersed in a totally new world, far away from their everyday life. A world with birdsong, clear starry skies, fresh air, real food and plenty of mud. A world where you can see, hear, smell, touch and taste the possibility. It’s a profound experience that will stay with them for life.
In school events
As well as enriching our curriculum with trips and visits off our school site we also ensure a huge range of activities is on offer in our day to day offering.

In the week the children take part in a range of workshops led by external agencies and parents.
